More : I know him for many years, but really came to know about his social service when he brought an young boy to me and asked me to help with the boy's studies. His character is very good. People feel free to approach him for any info or help.
More than all those, he is a very good communicator. He can speak/write Telugu and English.
(not sure of his hindi speakign skills). He knows the rules, he can win discussions.
Politics: He knows politics well.
Doing now: As he could not get any job after BA in those days ( 10 years back ) , he settled with some shop in his village.

A Citizen Help Center will perform following functions:
- It will become the hub for citizen action and informed assertion
- It will be a repository of information that is simple, accurate and useful on a variety of services we, the citizens, are entitled to receive from government and its agencies
- It will carry information on a wide spectrum of government activities including certificates, land-related issues, public distribution system, voting rights, civic issues, public utilities, civil rights and stake holder empowerment
- It will assist the citizens in their interactions with the government and its agencies
- It will act as library/resource center and will also host information on contemporary socio-political issues.
- It will act as counseling center for young people seeking information on employment opportunities and where possible senior staff of LSP will guide the youngsters in the career plans
It will also act as information centers for all the activities of LSP

ReplyDeleteI am suspecting few things in high intensity areas.
The selected area for starting CHC is decent then we can implement without any issues .If not we are supposed to face lot of, in such case who can support us. Of course leave about media and JP, we may require immediate person who can be reachable for any assistance.
Incase of Land issues and fights between two groups always very problematic, its not as easy as getting the sign from MRO office. Even if you want to solve the issues also they are not in a position to accept.
As long as we are doing these things, all may treat it as one group who are doing social service. Will it helpful for political development?
Lot of poor people under poverty line, they are not expecting guidance or news paper to understand the govt policies.
Instead of spending money for library and solving problems between two groups etc.Let us start completely independent group without relating with any party.Because of this we are not going face any issues, in addition to that we will get support from all.Ofcourse scope of political development in this approach is goose egg.
If 50 S/W engineers are willing to do something without expecting any profit, they can do whatever they wish.

Consider all the things and plan accordingly, we all are there for you to support.

MASTH: These kind of people may not approach the centers like CHC. Incase if the group who approached us is genuine and we feel that we need to help,
then the issue will be taken up and solved by the higher level people ( this is what is told by the working committee if loksatta )

MASTH: Everything is tagged with Loksatta, People think Loksatta is helping them. At the same time the CHC officer will take the
principles of loksatta into the public.

MASTH: CHC will be helpful for them in many ways. First we educate them to approach the CHC, then CHC will take care of all the schemes,
that they are eligible to get. And also helps their children education by different means. Many people even do not know there are good residential schools and how to get into them.

MASTH: Money is not just for library. A minimum library will be there to educate the people on their rights and change their attitude.
We can also function as an independent entity, but we cannot take up many things. Any major issues or a problem common to many people, can be taken up by party. And also we meet our second objective of taking loksatta into people.
ans also, are not spending any money for that. We spend money for employee, broadband, phone, room rent and misc expenses.

MASTH: Definitely, after putting up this CHC, I am expecting a min of 10 people among these 50 will take the lead and form their team to set up one more CHC.
